Terms of Service
Last updated October 17, 2026
These terms cover website and related services from Corvionix Web Design ("Corvionix", "I", "me"), a sole proprietorship run by Tristan in Indiana, and you, the client. By approving a quote or paying a deposit, you agree to them. If a written quote or agreement for your project says something different, that document wins.
1. What I do
I design and build websites and offer optional extras listed on corvionix.app (review replies, social posts, Google Business Profile cleanup, printed-style designs delivered as files, and a website chat bot). Each project's scope (pages, features, and price) is set in your quote. Work outside that scope is quoted separately before I start it.
2. Free previews
A free preview creates no obligation for either of us. See the Preview policy.
3. Price and payment
- Website projects: 50% deposit to start, 50% when the site is ready to launch. The site goes live after the final payment.
- Prices are those in your quote. Payments are made by the invoice method I send (for example, an online card invoice).
- Monthly services are billed in advance each month.
- Invoices are due within 14 days. I may pause work or hosting on unpaid invoices after giving you notice.
4. Revisions
Website projects include up to 2 rounds of revisions after the first full draft. A round is one consolidated list of changes. More rounds or new features can be added at a price I quote first.
5. Your content
You're responsible for the text, photos, logos, prices, hours and other material you give me, and you confirm you have the right to use it. You're responsible for the accuracy of your business information, including licenses, claims and pricing. Stock photos I supply are used under their licenses and are labeled as stock where relevant.
6. Ownership
Once you've paid in full, you own the final site design and content made for you, and I'll hand over the site files on request. Until then, the work stays mine. Third-party items such as fonts, stock photos, software, and hosting stay under their own licenses. I may show the finished site in my portfolio unless you ask me not to.
7. Hosting and care plan
- The optional care plan ($25/month unless your quote says otherwise) covers hosting, domain connection and reasonable small updates such as hours, prices, text and photos. Larger changes are quoted.
- You can cancel any monthly service at any time by email. It stops at the end of the current paid month, and there are no refunds for partial months.
- If you cancel hosting, I'll give you the site files so you can host them elsewhere.
- Domain names you buy are yours. If I register one for you, it's registered in your name or transferred to you on request.
- Hosting relies on third-party providers (currently Cloudflare). I can't guarantee uninterrupted uptime.
8. AI-assisted work
I use AI tools to help draft copy, designs, code, review replies and social posts. I review the work before it's delivered, and nothing is published under your name without your approval, unless you've told me in writing to post approved types of content automatically.
9. No guaranteed results
I don't guarantee search rankings, traffic, calls, reviews, sales or any other business result. Google, social platforms and other third parties control their own systems.
10. Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, Corvionix's total liability for any claim related to the services is limited to the total fees you paid me for the services the claim relates to. I'm not liable for indirect or consequential losses such as lost profits or lost data. Keep your own copies of important content.
11. Termination
Either of us can end a project by email. If you end it, the deposit covers work already done, and any work beyond what the deposit covers is billed at the agreed rate. If I end it without cause, I'll refund the part of the deposit for work not yet done. I may suspend services used for illegal, harmful or deceptive purposes.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Indiana. Any dispute goes to the state or federal courts serving Marion County, Indiana. Small claims court is always an option.
13. Changes and contact
I may update these terms. The version that applies to your project is the one in effect when you approved your quote. Questions: [email protected], or by mail: Corvionix Web Design, PO Box 36117, 12125 E 65th St, Indianapolis, IN 46236.
